Waterproof solar panel mounting sections are designed to protect solar panels from moisture and prevent water infiltration that could damage the electrical components. And these waterproof solar panel mounting sections are completely waterproof.
The systems incorporate drainage features to allow water to flow away from the panels and mounting hardware, reducing the risk of water pooling.
This product can be used not only on carports but also on roofs. One of the customers below used this system on his roof.
Q:
Hello Dears, I reviewed the waterproof solar panel mounting sections on your website. I’m planning to install about 46 (4×6)*2 panels on my second-floor roof, creating a canopy that shades the main roof and provides a storage area underneath. My main question is: are these waterproof solar panel mounting sections completely waterproof? I want the solar panel array itself to function as a weatherproof roof. If they are, please provide a solution.
With best regards

Hello,
Thanks for your inquiry.
our waterproof solar panel mounting system is mounting structures and used with solar panel to make waterproof function.
Attached our Waterproof structure guide for your reference first.
By the way, May I know where are you from? Have you ever imported solar products from China? Is it used for yourself?
Please feel free contact my WhatsApp:0086-191-0502-7831 for quickly communication.
Looking forward to further discussion.
Q:
Hello Dears,
I appreciate your quick response. I’m excited to work directly with a Chinese company, especially since most solar systems here in Erbil, Kurdistan, Iraq originate in China. The concept of a waterproof canopy for solar panels is innovative and hasn’t been tried here yet. While this project is for me personally, I know there’s a large local demand for this type of solution. As this is my first time importing from China, I’m hoping you can guide me through the process. I’ll send you some basic structural sketches , which you can then use to design the connections for the solar panels and create a waterproof system. I’ll also need help determining the quantity of each component required for this project.
Note: I’ll send the same message on the WhatsApp number you provided with all the attachments needed.

Hello
Thank you for your reply.
You only need our waterproof solar panel mounting structure, right? Do you already have columns and purlins on your floor? Do you have more project information? For example, the size of the solar panel, the drawing of your solar panel array, the direction of the solar panel placement, and the budget. If you have, please send it to us and we will estimate the cost for you.
Q:
Hello again
Our plan involves two solar panel groups (But all connected together forming one layer). Each group will consist of 24 panels (4 rows of 6) arranged vertically, also with a waterproof maintenance corridor separating them. The right-hand group may have two fewer panels, as shown in the second sketch attached.
The first sketch shows the planned support structure for the panels and roof, including dimensions. The main structure will be constructed from 8×8 cm galvanized steel, with all dimensions in meters. It will have a 10-degree incline and face south
The second sketch depicts the project’s nearly finalized design. I’m hoping you can help us determine the budget and other remaining details. If there is anything else you can offer for instant solar panels, please let me know.

Hello
Thanks for your information.
We just returned to work today after the Spring Festival holiday.
I discussed your project with the technicians. We can support your design. Please tell us the size or model of the solar panel used in your project and the size (length and width) of the waterproof maintenance corridor so that we can check the cost for you.
Looking forward to further discussion.
Q:
Hi,
I hope you had a good holiday and found the sketches useful. Regarding the solar panel size, I’ve included the dimensions of a model we initially considered. However, this specific model may no longer be available. Let’s use these dimensions as a starting point for our collaboration, as they may need to be adjusted. For the maintenance corridor, a flexible width between 40 and 60 cm will work well. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Best,
2278 x 1134 mm

Hello
Thank you for your additional information.
Please check the attached design and quotation including our waterproof mounting and accessories and walkway. The rest of the bottom beams and columns are your own.
Please note that the quotation is based on EXW trade terms excluding freight.
In this project, the middle 600mm maintenance corridor uses the walkway. In addition, it is recommended that you install another set of beams and columns to strengthen the entire project as shown in the figure below.
Do you need us to check the freight from Xiamen, China to Iraq for you? If so, please provide your destination port.
Looking forward to further discussion.
Q;
Hello,
Thanks for the proposed solution and offer. Before discussing freight costs and details, we’d like to understand how the design connects to our planned structure, particularly the vertical and horizontal connections. Also, how would the solution change if you incorporated the columns and beams into your design?
We have a couple more questions (please excuse us if they seem basic):
Is the structure made of aluminum or galvanized steel? What colors are available?
Can the solar panels be walked on after installation, as shown in the attached image? If so, what’s the maximum load they can support? Can the panels be attached/detached from below (or both above and below)?
With best regards,
A:
Hello
Attached our installation manual is for your reference.
Do you mean to incorporate the columns and beams? The difference is whether you provide it yourself or we provide it. If we provide it, it will increase the cost, and the spacing of the columns and beams may change.
In addition, ours is made of zinc-aluminum-magnesium steel material, which has better corrosion resistance than galvanized steel. The color belongs to the original color of the raw material. The color of the actual picture below is for your reference
It is allowed to walk on it. The maximum load depends on the distance between your beams and the weight of the solar panels you purchased. The solar panel can be removed from the top by adjusting the mid clamp and end clamp.
Q:
Sure, I’m happy to adjust the column and beam placement if you think it improves the design. We can either use materials you source locally or materials I provide – either way is fine with me.
Thanks for the manual.
